I’ve been in Seattle for almost two weeks now. Not to brag or anything, but this is the view from my apartment, no zoom or anything:
At least, it is until they finish the apartment building next door.
I’ve been working on this for the last two weeks. I was almost certain I was going to finish it during a 10 hour round trip bus ride from NYC and to Boston, but alas, no cigar. No worries, I thought to myself- no doubt another five hours on the flight to SEATAC is all you need.
One week later, and that’s what I’ve got to show. This whole project monogamy thing? Not working out so well.
For a currently undetermined period of silence. There is knitting going on, but this week I’ll be moving to the Capitol Hill district of Seattle all the way from the suburbs of New Jersey, so I’ll be busy busy busy. In the meantime, I leave you with this:
A thus far unfinished Lace Ribbon Scarf.

In other words, what my Ravelry friends page looked like when I got up this morning:
Being the lemming that I am, I checked it out. It’s a cute sweater, although I think what makes it so lovely is Sundara’s yarn, which is not only totally out of my price range, but ridiculously hard to get. If I were to knit it, I might chose Malabrigo Worsted in either their Polar Morn shade or some kind of deep navy blue or aubergine.
Finished: One (1) Forecast
Unfortunately the picture is rather terrible and I haven’t been moved to take a better one recently.
