I bought one skein of Manos del Uruguay at a LYS, Anglefire Studios in Basking Ridge, NJ. (I say ‘a’ rather than ‘my’ because there are quite a few yarn stores in the area. At least 3)
I have no idea why, when faced with the vast spectrum of colors Manos provides us with, I selected exactly the least flattering shade of cream. This was truly an instant gratification knit (one day, peeps!), but I’m not thrilled about the effect of the final stitches being cast off by being threaded off or the way the decreases look on the crown. Looking back, I also should have added the second set of garter stitch. I’m so meh about the hat I’m not really invested enough to go back and change it.
